Our Story

We met during our junior year at Providence College and have been together ever since. After graduation we moved to Boston, where we still currently reside. We started off in separate apartments in the Fenway neighborhood of Boston. After a year, we moved to the North End of Boston where we live together with our dog, Ainsley.

Brian is currently getting his Masters of Business Administration from Boston University, while working full-time for Thomson Reuters. I spend my time working at Towers Perrin, a benefits consulting firm.

On March 3, 2008, Brian decided to make it official and proposed bright and early in the morning! Trying to surprise a girl that hates surprises, little did I know the biggest surprise was yet to come.

After the proposal we did our regular Sunday morning routine, strawberry pancakes, dog walks and groceries. Under the guise of going out to lunch with his sister, Meghan, Brian lured me to Joe's American Bar and Grill. In my Sunday clothes and messy hair we made our way to lunch. As we entered the restaurant I turned the corner to see my sister, Michelle, a little taken back I paused but thought, "oh she lives close maybe she is just here to have lunch". As soon as I had convinced myself, I saw my parents, who had traveled up from Connecticut to surprise me. Alongside my parents was Brian's immediate family, Mom, Jo, Sean, and Dad (via phone!). At that point Brian had succeeded, tears ran from my face as I said over and over, "I hate surprises".

We can say officially life with each other will be full of surprises, whether I like it or not....

Join us for a day to start a life of surprises…hopefully it will go off without a hitch!
